Branding agency in Pamplona
Branding agency and strategic design consultancy in Pamplona.
Baud is a branding agency in Pamplona that works with companies in the north that have grown faster than their brand. Strategy, identity, packaging, spaces, and digital product, with the same team from diagnosis to the shelf. The Navarra office serves Pamplona, the Ribera region, the Basque Country, La Rioja, and Aragon, and works daily with the rest of the firm in Madrid and Barcelona.

Northern brands
Food brands that sell more abroad than they do at home, wineries with a century and a half of history, and a club over a hundred years old. Different categories with the same common denominator: heritage is the asset, and the brand decides whether that heritage is understood outside its region.
From our Navarra office, we also work with Volkswagen, BM (Uvesco Group), Congelados de Navarra, Limagrain, and Bodegas Bornos, among others. All projects.
If the brand has fallen behind the business, the first step is not a redesign: it is understanding what is failing and in what order to fix it.
Who we work with
Over 200 clients in 20 years: large corporations, family homes with a century and a half of history, and brands starting from scratch. Here are some of them.

What the North has taught us about branding
Here are companies that have been in the market longer than most of the agencies advising them. That changes the brief: it's almost never about inventing something, but rather about deciding what to keep.

A classic category is worth revisiting
With Verleal, the challenge wasn't to set the brand apart from a competitor, but to change what people expect from an entire product category. In this case, the brand doesn't just embellish the product—it's what gives it a new place in the shopping cart.

Leaving the region forces one to decide what gets told
Inside the home, the brand explains itself. On an outside shelf, nobody knows it and the label has to do the entire job in two seconds. That is where you can see if the strategy was actually implemented or just stated.

Belonging is an asset, not an ornament
At Real Oviedo, the graphic system exists so that a community can recognize itself in it: from the crest to the typography, from the membership card to the stadium wall. When belonging is well constructed, it sustains the business even in the bad years.
That is why, when someone looks for a branding agency in Pamplona, the useful question is not how many identities it has created, but how many are still standing years later.
What a branding agency does
Projects usually start before design. A diagnosis, an architectural decision, a strategy that organizes the portfolio. Then comes the visible: identity, packaging, website, store. That order is what separates a project from brand design of a work execution contract.

Consultancy or studio
A design studio solves a single piece of work and solves it well: a logo, a package, a website. A consultancy decides first what the brand must mean and why, and designs second. If what is on the table is a specific piece of work, the former is enough. If it is a business decision, the latter is needed.
How we work
A branding agency doesn't start with the logo. It starts by deciding what a brand needs to mean for the business to grow, and only then makes it visible. At Baud, this journey is organized into three phases, and each one has a result that the client can see and use.
Vision
Diagnosis and strategy. We audit the brand, the market, and the competition, and we talk to management, the team, and customers. From there comes the brand strategypurpose, positioning, and an idea that organizes all the decisions that follow.
Creation
Naming if needed, verbal identity and visual identity. What is delivered is not a logo: it is a system that has to work on packaging, in a store, in an app, and in an earnings presentation.
Experience
Packaging, commercial spaces, digital product, and communication. A brand only truly exists when someone touches it. This is where having the in-house design team changes the outcome: we don't outsource the part the customer sees.
What we deliver: brand platform, brand architecture when there are multiple lines, complete identity with its manual, and the first real-world applications.
Pamplona, Second Ensanche
The Navarre office is on Alfonso el Batallador, a short walk from the center. From here, northern projects are managed, and work is done daily with the teams in Madrid and Barcelona: the same people, the same method, and the meeting wherever it needs to be held.
Navarra is home to a concentration of agri-food, automotive, energy, and healthcare industries that is disproportionate to its size. These are companies that sell abroad and have been doing well for decades without needing to make a big deal about it. That’s precisely the point at which a brand begins to carry weight: when the product alone is no longer enough to explain why customers choose you.

How to Choose a Branding Agency in Pamplona
On paper, branding agencies and design studios look a lot alike. Here are the questions that separate a successful project from one that stays in the folder.
Who conceives the project and who executes it?
It is worth knowing if the team being presented is the one that will actually be working.
Is there diagnosis before design?
A project that starts with identity without understanding the business usually ends in a redesign two years later.
Do you have cases in your category or at your scale?
A good job for a startup does not guarantee knowing how to move a brand with a commercial network and distribution.
Do you understand what it means to export?
In the north, a large part of invoicing is done abroad. A brand designed solely for the domestic market falls short as soon as it crosses the border.
Can you assist beyond the initial assignment?
Brand, packaging, space and digital rarely arrive all at once, but they end up arriving.

What they ask us before starting
What is a branding agency?
A branding agency defines what a brand means and how it is expressed: strategy, name, verbal and visual identity, and its application in products, spaces, and digital environments. It differs from a design studio in that it starts from the business rather than the graphic assignment. At Baud, both things coexist—consulting and design—within the same team.
Do you have an office in Pamplona?
Yes. The Navarre office is located at Alfonso el Batallador, 2, in Pamplona’s Segundo Ensanche neighborhood, and it is one of Baud’s three offices, along with those in Madrid and Barcelona. From there, the company manages projects in Navarre, the Basque Country, La Rioja, and Aragon.
Which northern companies have you worked with?
Including Volkswagen, BM (Uvesco Group), Congelados de Navarra, Limagrain, Verleal, Marqués de Murrieta, Azpilicueta, Muga, Bodegas Bornos, and Real Oviedo, among others. These are projects in strategy, identity, brand architecture, packaging, and digital product.
Do you work only with companies from Navarre?
No. From Pamplona we handle projects in the north and all over Spain, and the team works with the Madrid and Barcelona offices. Proximity helps in the in-person phases: strategy workshops, identity presentations, and physical product reviews. The rest of the project runs smoothly remotely.
How much does a branding project cost?
It depends on three things: the scope, the scale of the brand, and how many applications are involved. An identity for a company with one product and one market doesn't cost the same as one for a group with multiple brands and an international presence. We first finalize the diagnosis and scope, and we quote based on that, in phases and with a fixed price. In an initial conversation, a realistic range can be provided.
Do you work with wineries?
Yes, and it is one of the categories where we have the most experience: Marqués de Murrieta, Azpilicueta, Muga, Bodegas Palacio, Bodegas Bornos, Figuero, and Tío Pepe, among others. The work ranges from positioning and range architecture to label design and production.
How long does a brand identity project take?
Between three and six months for complete strategy and identity, and a bit longer if packaging, spaces, or digital development are involved. The phase that varies the most is the client's internal validation, not the work itself.
Can you start with just one part?
Yes. Many projects start with a brand audit or a specific packaging assignment and grow from there. What we avoid is designing without first understanding what business problem is behind it.
