Interviews with Baud members
Interviewee: María Gallardo, Office Manager.
Interview date: July 1, 2020.
We continue with the new content framework in which you can get to know a little better the members of our team, those who build Baud. Maria is adventurous, an earthquake and multifaceted. She is also adventurous on a professional level, in that she has moved in many fields: from her passion (archaeology), museum guide, psychomotricity and swimming instructor, customer service, project assistant, etc. Organized and efficient, she helps her colleagues whenever she can and prefers to look for solutions rather than blame.
Why did you choose branding as a profession?
Branding chose me, it's my new adventure.
What is the best thing about your job?
Helping whenever I can and learning new things.
And the worst part?
Dealing with disorganization, I don't deal with it well.
What do you get out of working at Baud?
Knowledge of other areas even if he/she does not work in them first hand.
For you, what are the best qualities that a professional in your area should have?
Be multitask and know how to prioritize the tasks that come up. And ask! The more you ask, the more you learn.
How do you see the future of your profession a few years from now? What changes do you think may arise?
Right now I see it as uncertain, but we have to keep working on it.
In a nutshell...
- A benchmark: Lao Tse.
- A confessable hobby: Wherever I go, I have to be prepared for any situation (my bag can be Mary Poppins' or Hermione Granger's).
- A book you would recommend: The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien.
- Your ideal music to work with: more than to work, it depends on how I feel at that moment. I can be listening to rock or classical.
- A phrase that is your mantra: when you allow yourself what you deserve, you attract what you need.
- A plan to disconnect: Reading-Mountain-Beach-Adventure Sports.
- Something surprising about you: my ability to adapt and that I have many hobbies such as playing the guitar, singing, creating my own clothes, making crafts, climbing mountains and hiking trails or going to the beach even if it rains.
